Overview

We are seeking a skilled Application Security Test Engineer to join our security team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and secure code reviews of our thick client applications across various platforms.

In Short

• Conduct thorough vulnerability assessment on Windows desktop VPN and mobile client apps.
• Identify and analyze cryptographic algorithms and security misconfigurations.
• Perform manual penetration testing on VPN and client applications.
• Utilize tools for static and dynamic security analysis.
• Review source code for security flaws and coding errors.
• Collaborate with development teams for secure coding practices.
• Conduct penetration testing on Firewall hardware and VPN client applications.
• Document and report findings with remediation steps.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on security assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Proven experience with Windows, Linux, and mobile clients.
• Proficiency in application security tools like Burp Suite and Wireshark.
• Strong understanding of VPN technologies and cryptographic protocols.
• Experience with security testing methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications such as OSCP or OSCE are a plus.
