Resource Manager - Remote

Overview

The Resource Manager is responsible for the strategic sourcing and scheduling of Professional Services business across one or more technical practices, managing the master schedule, and enterprise reporting.

In Short

• Independently source and schedule resources for Professional Services projects.
• Manage the master calendar to maximize utilization and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to scheduling change requests from Project Managers.
• Interpret SOWs to determine resource requirements.
• Administer the central scheduling tool.
• Identify outsourcing opportunities and work with Partner Enablement.
• Conduct weekly demand and capacity planning exercises.
• Provide regular utilization and delivery forecasts to business leaders.
• Update and maintain the engineering skills base.

Requirements

• B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role.
• Strong experience with ERP and/or PSA systems.
• Experience with project scheduling software.
• Ability to analyze SOWs and Project Plans independently.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proven analytical abilities using data for decision-making.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite and Smartsheet preferred.
