Quality Assurance Specialist for Food Raw Materials - Remote

Overview

As a Quality Assurance Specialist for Food Raw Materials, you will significantly contribute to ensuring and further developing our quality standards for our work with food raw materials. You will ensure the safety and quality of our food raw materials, optimize testing processes, and work closely with internal and external partners to ensure our high-quality standards are met.

In Short

• Conduct risk assessments for food raw materials according to HACCP concepts
• Create and maintain testing plans for raw material controls
• Manage raw material master data and limits in LIMS
• Review and approve raw material specifications
• Develop raw material requirements with R&D and production
• Evaluate and approve supplier documents and certificates
• Support supplier audits and evaluations
• Process complaints in the raw material area

Requirements

• Completed studies in food technology, food chemistry, or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in quality assurance in the food industry
• In-depth knowledge of dry food raw materials
• Experience with laboratory analyses and testing methods
• Proven expertise in EU food law
• Familiarity with relevant EU regulations and standards (FSSC, IFS, BRC)
• Proficient in quality management systems and HACCP
• Fluent in German and English
