In Short

  • You will manage a territory of colleges and universities.
  • Develop professional relationships with professors and demonstrate the value of our platform.
  • Convert professors into clients by enhancing their teaching methods.
  • Spend approximately 40%-50% of your time on campus annually.
  • Travel to campuses to prospect professors.
  • Find, create, facilitate, and close new business opportunities.
  • Represent and sell Top Hat’s products and services.
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure a great customer experience.
  • Position Top Hat’s value proposition effectively.
  • Be part of a team driving change in higher education.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales role.
  • Experience selling to professors in person is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License required due to travel.
  • Strong sales skills including prospecting and closing deals.
  • Ability to work in a metrics-driven environment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply feedback quickly.
  • Motivated and achievement-oriented.
  • Positive attitude when facing objections.
