In Short

• Lead and grow planning practice in the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities.
• Serve as Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager on complex projects.
• Support and mentor a team of 13 planners.
• Manage workloads and utilization.
• Recruit and retain a talented, inclusive team.
• Work closely with Office Directors and national leadership.
• Deliver high-quality, equity-centered work.

• Engage in projects that improve lives through safe design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in urban planning or related field; AICP preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of planning experience, 15+ years preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, managing public sector projects.
• Experience managing and mentoring a team.
• Success in managing complex transportation projects.
• Strong interest in multimodal and active transportation planning.
• Ability to build genuine relationships in the industry.
