Overview

As a Senior Database Engineer at Toku, you will create and manage cloud-native database platforms, ensuring reliability and performance while contributing to data engineering efforts.

Requirements

• Strong experience with MySQL or MariaDB in production.
• 5+ years in database engineering or DBA roles.
• Experience with AWS cloud-managed databases.
• Proven design experience in high availability and DR solutions.
• Hands-on Python scripting skills for automation.
• Exposure to data engineering platforms like Databricks.
• Strong query tuning and performance engineering skills.
• Knowledge of GDPR and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience in Linux environments.
• Ability to mentor and influence technical direction.
