Legal Counsel, Commercial - Remote

Overview

Tines is seeking a proactive, business-oriented Legal Counsel to join our growing Legal team. You will report to our Director of Legal and will play a critical role in helping Tines scale its global business, supporting contracting efforts and commercial transactions across multiple regions.

In Short

• Lead and negotiate commercial transactions across the full deal lifecycle.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including SaaS subscription agreements.
• Support both direct and indirect sales models ensuring compliance with operational standards.
• Collaborate with global Sales teams on enterprise commercial contracts.
• Develop and maintain templates and scalable contracting processes.
• Provide legal advice on data protection, privacy, and IP issues.
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders.
• Take ownership of complex problems and design practical solutions.
• Contribute to the build-out of the in-house Legal function.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience required.

Requirements

• J.D. and active U.S. bar membership in good standing.
• Experience across the software procurement lifecycle.
• Proven experience negotiating complex contracts.
• Strong commercial judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to create structure and improve processes.
