Legal Counsel, Commercial - Remote

Guild is hiring a Legal Counsel, Commercial. This role is an individual who thrives in an environment driven by mission, agility, and high growth, who can partner with and support our prospect and client facing teams in navigating complex legal and regulatory issues.

In Short

• Draft, review and negotiate complex legal agreements (NDA, MSA, Order Forms, SLA’s, etc.)
• Support other corporate counsel and members of the Legal Department with contracting efforts and process improvements
• Manage overall procurement process
• Define and improve vendor contracting processes
• Coordinate contract terms reviews with internal teams
• Analyze and provide insights based on vendor contracts
• Foster strong working relationships with internal and external clients
• Assist in the development of legal training programs

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in complex commercial negotiations
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Knowledge of commercial contracting and regulatory landscape
• Ability to manage tight deadlines for negotiations
• Client-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills
• Experience in analyzing complex matters and conveying advice clearly
