Staff Accountant (DTC & E-commerce) - Remote

Overview

The Staff Accountant role at Tidal involves maintaining accurate financial records and supporting accounting operations for a high-growth DTC eCommerce company.

In Short

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process
• Assist in month-end close activities
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards
• Perform revenue reconciliations
• Track and reconcile inventory and COGS
• Support audit requirements
• Maintain organized financial records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Work remotely, full-time, approximately 40 hours/week
• Contractor fee of $2,700 - $3,000/month

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of freelancing or remote work experience
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping
• 1 year of experience in DTC or eCommerce environments
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Excellent Excel or Google Sheets skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
