Actuarial Director - Remote

Overview

The Actuarial Director will lead the actuarial function at Thyme Care, focusing on forecasting, contract reconciliations, and reserving activities, while collaborating with the C-suite to drive innovation in cancer care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, or related field.
• ASA or FSA required.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience in healthcare.
• 2+ years of mentoring experience.
• Experience with reserving and forecasting in value-based arrangements.
• Understanding of Medicare Advantage health plan data.
• Experience with SQL, SAS, or similar coding languages.
• Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of healthcare financial metrics.
• Familiarity with BI Tools like Looker or Tableau.
