Overview

The Volunteer Relations Associate is a crucial member of The Trevor Project’s Volunteer program, supporting both Community and Student volunteer counselors on crisis services platforms that provide nationwide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services for LGBTQ+ youth.

Requirements

• BSW, MSW, LCSW, LMHC, or related degrees required.
• Experience in social work, counseling, or crisis care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of LGBTQ+ issues and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ youth.
• Familiarity with crisis management protocols.
• Commitment to staff wellness and trauma-informed practices.
• Strong resilience in crisis situations.
