Overview

The Program Associate, Lawmaker Engagement will support the Lawmaker Engagement Team to ensure lawmakers have the necessary tools and resources to improve lives, focusing on administrative functions, data tracking, and event coordination.

• Support administrative functions for the Lawmaker Engagement team.
• Coordinate virtual and in-person Lawmaker Engagement programs.
• Manage logistics for events and meetings.
• Ensure quality control of data and mailing lists.
• Conduct research and follow up on requests.
• Draft documents for reporting and maintain content repositories.
• Compile and analyze lawmaker survey data.
• Research new tools to support team work.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Passion for the organization’s mission.
• Strong organizational skills and independent judgment.
• Self-starter with a proven track record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 2 years’ experience in politics, policy, or non-profits.
• Familiarity with email marketing and CRM platforms.
