Senior Manager, Governance Programs - Remote

Overview

The States Project is seeking a Senior Manager for the Lawmaker Engagement team who will manage programs for lawmakers focused on effective governance, ensuring efficiency and alignment with TSP goals.

In Short

• Position is 100% remote with some travel required.
• Full-time, exempt, at-will position.
• Manage and evaluate annual programming plans.
• Coordinate development of content for lawmaker programming.
• Oversee data management and team operations.
• Ensure adherence to programming budgets.
• Engage with lawmakers through outreach and communication.
• Collaborate with team leadership for process improvements.
• Track and report on Lawmaker Engagement goals.
• Support program evaluation frameworks and survey tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in programming and project management.
• Passion for the organization’s mission and vision.
• Self-starter with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CRMs and data platforms.
• Ability to manage time and tasks effectively.
