Governance Program Manager - Remote

Overview

Polygon Labs is a software development company building and developing a network of aggregated blockchains via the Agglayer, secured by Ethereum. As public infrastructure, the Agglayer will bring together user bases and liquidity for any connected chain, and leverage Ethereum as a settlement layer. Polygon Labs has also contributed to the core development of several widely-adopted scaling protocols and tools for launching blockchains, including Polygon PoS, Polygon zkEVM, and Polygon Miden, which is in development as well as Polygon CDK.

In Short

• Lead the decentralization strategy for a major product vertical within the Polygon ecosystem.
• Convene a diverse range of stakeholders to identify challenges, ideate solutions, and drive impactful change.
• Draft governance policies, develop conceptual frameworks, scope technical projects, and manage external collaborations.
• Communicate complex ideas to both internal and external audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as executive leadership.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence by producing high-quality documentation and operational artifacts that support the team’s infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a high-impact, cross-functional role with a proven record of leadership and achievement.
• Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and strong written English.
• Experience managing projects or operations with an ownership mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to drive alignment in multi-stakeholder environments by identifying tradeoffs and managing evolving priorities.
• Comfort working with technical teams and translating complex concepts into accessible content.
