Overview

The Employee Relations Director is a full-time leadership role responsible for managing employee relations strategy and ensuring a culture of fairness and engagement within the organization.

In Short

  • Lead employee relations function and ensure HR policy compliance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on employment law.
  • Manage complex employee issues and conduct investigations.
  • Design and deliver training programs on employee relations topics.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on policy oversight.
  • Champion initiatives for a respectful workplace culture.
  • Provide strategic input on workforce development.
  • Maintain documentation of employee relations cases.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience required.
  • HR certification preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing sensitive issues.
  • Deep knowledge of employment laws.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in early childhood education is a plus.
