Overview

As the Director of Employee Relations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive workplace culture across our global organization that supports employees to do their best work. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive employee relations policies and procedures that align with our organizational values.

  • Implement policies and procedures in collaboration with HR and other departments.
  • Address workplace conflicts and conduct formal investigations.
  • Manage employee relations matters and accommodation requests.
  • Oversee employment agreements and terminations.
  • Provide expert advice to HR Business Partners and leaders.
  • Develop and track key employee relations metrics.
  • Utilize data insights to enhance workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements in Canada/US.
  • Foster a collaborative and transparent environment.
  • Support a positive organizational culture aligned with company values.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Employee Relations.
  • Exceptional understanding of legislative requirements in Canada/US.
  • Strong business partnership experience.
  • Deep experience in policy drafting and implementation.
  • Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands.
