Overview

The Harris Poll is seeking a Director of Sales to identify and close new business logos to grow our client base, delivering market insights through innovative research solutions.

In Short

  • Proactively prospect and lead effective client research to identify and create qualified sales opportunities.
  • Build a strong and continuously growing pipeline using tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Enter all sales data and progress into Salesforce.
  • Become an expert in product uses and competitive landscape.
  • Partner with marketing to create effective campaigns for new acquisitions and cross-selling.
  • Perform the full sales cycle from researching to closing deals.
  • Deliver engaging sales presentations and write compelling prospecting emails.
  • Engage clients by developing strong relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in industry conferences and be available to travel for work.
  • Participate in sales planning and status meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years’ proven sales experience.
  • Strong experience closing large-sized enterprise subscriptions.
  • Track record of high-volume prospect outreach and exceeding quotas.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with prospects.
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate how solutions match customer needs.
  • Adept at collaborating with internal partners.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans.
