Senior Finance Associate - Remote

Overview

The Flex Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to help drive financial accuracy, efficiency, and compliance as we continue to scale. This role is critical to maintaining our financial health, refining our internal processes, and ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting.

In Short

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal accounting policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and identify areas for increased efficiency.
• Monitor company expenses and oversee employee reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
• Proactively implement improvements to accounting processes and tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of financial accounting experience.
• Comfortable working with remote and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong grasp of IFRS/GAAP and advanced Excel skills.
• High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated and reliable in a remote work setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong foundational training in GAAP, IFRS, and experience with financial tools.
