Overview

TextNow is looking for an experienced Android Developer to play a key role in the development of our voice and messaging platform on Android. You will be responsible for building high-performance, scalable, and feature-rich mobile applications that integrate voice, video, and messaging capabilities.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications focused on voice and messaging features.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable Android applications in Java and Kotlin.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Android App development.
• Experience in Kotlin and Java, with a deep understanding of Android SDK.
• Bonus points for experience with real-time communication protocols.
• Experience with APIs and third-party libraries for messaging.
• Knowledge of push notifications and managing network connections.
• Familiarity with modern Android development tools and debugging.
• Understanding of user experience principles.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
