Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

TextNow is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design and develop data platforms that enable effective data-informed decisions, supporting all TextNow's business and data products.

In Short

• Own TextNow's data warehouse, data pipelines, and integration points.
• Design, develop, and support batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Manage data models for AI/ML data products.
• Work with engineering and infrastructure teams for quicker data access.
• Communicate data modeling and architecture processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the data platform.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with data warehouse/data lake and ETL architectures.
• 2 years of experience with Airflow and Spark.
• Experience developing scalable, real-time data pipelines using Python/Scala.
• Exposure to AWS platform and services.
• Experience building data features using Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
• Respectfully candid, with the ability to drive tasks to completion.
• Highly organized and dependable.
