Overview

The Corporate Paralegal will play a crucial role in the Legal and Compliance team at TerrAscend, assisting with contract management, legal activities, and strategic projects.

In Short

• Lead and manage the administration of company contracts.
• Provide initial review of all contracts using AI.
• Assist attorneys with various legal activities involving contracts, diligence, and litigation.
• Manage the administration of all legal vendors through a billing platform.
• Assist with M&A transactions and related documentation.
• Track important contract dates and maintain accurate records.
• Establish relationships with key stakeholders for timely contract execution.
• Utilize AI to streamline job responsibilities.
• Handle confidential information professionally.
• Drive progress on cross-functional projects and improve processes.

Requirements

• Paralegal Certificate required.
• CPCM certification preferred.
• 5 years of experience as a paralegal preferred.
• 2 years of experience in CLM required.
• Excellent business judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
