Assessor Reviewer RN - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for conducting assessments of members who may need skilled nurse assessment services, providing recommendations based on health care needs.

In Short

• Conducts virtual assessments of individuals with disabilities.
• Collaborates with health care providers to validate treatment plans.
• Documents assessment results and negotiates service plans.
• Completes quality assurance competency reviews.
• Provides ongoing education and training for new assessors.
• Communicates with health care providers to ensure appropriate care.
• May involve in process improvement initiatives.
• Mentors new staff and assists in formal training.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Four-year nursing degree with three years of recent nursing experience.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Preferred experience with Pediatric and Geriatric populations.
• Current RN licensure in Colorado or compact nursing license.
• Bilingual or Spanish speaking preferred.
