Temporary Assessor Reviewer II - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for conducting face-to-face assessments (virtual assessment) of members who may need skilled nurse assessment services, providing recommendations based on health care needs.

In Short

• Conducts face-to-face and virtual assessments of individuals with disabilities.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers to create or validate treatment plans.
• Documents assessment results and negotiates service plans as needed.
• Completes quality assurance competency reviews.
• Provides ongoing education and training for new assessors.
• May communicate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate care.
• Involved in process improvement initiatives.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Four-year nursing degree and at least three years of nursing experience within the last ten years.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities, especially IDD.
• Preferred experience with Pediatric and Geriatric populations with complex health needs.
• RN License in good standing.
