Assessor Reviewer RN - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for conducting face-to-face assessments of members who may need skilled nurse assessment services, providing recommendations for healthcare needs.

In Short

• Conduct face-to-face and/or virtual assessments of individuals with disabilities.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to validate treatment plans.
• Document assessment results and negotiate service plans.
• Complete quality assurance competency reviews.
• Provide ongoing education and training for new assessors.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate care.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Occasional travel to surrounding areas required.

Requirements

• Four-year nursing degree with a minimum of three years of nursing experience.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities, including IDD.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations preferred.
• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in Colorado or a compact nursing license preferred.
• Bilingual or Spanish speaking preferred.
