Overview

Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking a Leased Employee, Construction Project Coordinator to join our Long Term Recovery team! The Leased Employee, Construction Project Coordinator will plan and oversee all activities to achieve building production goals, producing cost estimates, creating scopes of work and schedules, reviewing plans, and vetting and recommending vendors and subcontractors. The Leased Employee, Construction Project Coordinator will manage project costs by comparing budgeted versus actual expenses, monitoring trends, and proposing refinements, and by managing sub-contracted work involves soliciting bids and RFPs, scheduling, quality control, and establishing work parameters through contracts, change orders, and notice to proceed orders.

• Plan and oversee all activities related to achieving building production goals.
• Produce cost estimates via Xactimate and manage project costs.
• Manage sub-contracted work including solicitation of bids and RFPs.
• Provide periodic project site visits to ensure compliance with project scope.
• Generate and foster contractor relationships for construction projects.
• 2-3 years of experience in project management or business operations.
• Experience in residential construction and relationship management.
• Working knowledge of building codes and inspection processes.
• Up to 50% travel required.
• Flexible and non-traditional work schedule.

• 2-3 years of experience in project management or business operations.
• 1-3 years of experience in relationship management.
• Experience with residential construction tasks.
• Knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.
• Experience with Critical Path Scheduling methods.
• Demonstrated success in matrix managed environments.
