Provider Outreach Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Provider Outreach Specialist will build relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, and community-based organizations to improve access to nutritious food for low-income families.

In Short

• Report to the Director of Provider Outreach & Engagement.
• Travel to local healthcare providers, hospitals, and health clinics.
• Build partnerships with caseworkers and clinical teams.
• Deliver tailored nutritional educational materials.
• Represent Tangelo at enrollment and promotional events.
• Work cross-functionally with Account Managers and Sales teams.
• Document outreach and provider interactions in CRM tools.
• Stay informed on Medicaid-related policies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Provider Outreach, Sales, or Account Support.
• Background in Pharmaceutical Sales, Public Health, Nutrition, or Healthcare Policy is a plus.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology.
• Proficiency with HubSpot or other CRM platforms.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Must be located in/near San Diego.
