In Short

  • Join the Actuarial & MedEcon team at TailorCare.
  • Refine pricing models and establish risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and troubleshoot complex scripts and reports using SQL, Excel, or other analytics tools.
  • Produce monthly VBC financial reporting including IBNR estimates.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to assess business impact.
  • Create and maintain innovative models for MSK utilization and cost savings.
  • Develop reserving methodology and report contract performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Champion TailorCare’s mission and values.
  • Work in a remote-first environment with a hybrid option in Nashville.

Requirements

  • Excellent programming skills in SQL and/or Python.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required.
  • 4-7 years of actuarial experience in healthcare.
  • Expertise in actuarial modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Value-based care deal experience is a plus.
