Remote Application Consultant

Overview

The Application Consultant role is project driven and will support a wide array of services for our Install Base customers, focusing on IT transformation for clients in the utility sector.

In Short

• Work with colleagues to manage technology solutions for clients.
• Provide support and training to clients on system setup and maintenance.
• Conduct business analysis, including gap and root cause analysis.
• Configure applications based on clients' business needs.
• Own user acceptance testing and change management processes.
• Identify opportunities for recommending additional products and services.
• Support Project Managers in managing engagement contracts.
• Deliver services efficiently to meet project milestones.
• Provide subject matter expertise to R&D and operational groups.
• Must be willing to travel up to 25% within North America.

Requirements

• Knowledge of utility customer life cycle.
• Experience with utility Customer Information System (CIS) processes.
• Strong communication skills across all organization levels.
• Experience working with both business and IT groups.
• Degree in Computer Science or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL and system configuration is helpful.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work at all levels.
