An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Meat & Poultry Specialist to join the Fresh Specialist team, focusing on driving sales and margin growth within the specialist Meat & Poultry category.

In Short

• Help increase volume, sales turnover, and margin within the Chilled & Frozen Meat & Poultry category.
• Build excellent working relationships with customers.
• Promote the Brakes chilled meat & poultry proposition.
• Work closely with ASMs, BDMs, and telesales specialists to develop new business.
• Train and develop knowledge of Brakes sales teams.
• Accurate completion of weekly & monthly administration.
• Maintain a robust pipeline using Salesforce.
• Maximise selling opportunity through customer analysis.
• Maintain competitor and market awareness.
• Manage personal and career development with your line manager.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Account Management or Business Development.
• Knowledge of the meat industry is beneficial.
• Ability to perform market research and competitor analysis.
• Confidence in building relationships internally and externally.
• Passion and enthusiasm to succeed.
• Tenacity to win new business.
• Ability to demonstrate and cook products for customers.
