Overview

As a Sales Development Representative at Surgimate, you will leverage your experience in the medical device field to connect with stakeholders in surgical practices, manufacturers, and distributors, driving outreach and booking qualified meetings.

In Short

  • Drive outbound outreach to surgical practices, manufacturers, and distributors using phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Set qualified meetings for Account Executives by surfacing real problems and solutions.
  • Leverage industry knowledge to ask smart questions and spark enterprise-level conversations.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging and prioritize target accounts.
  • Maintain Salesforce with accurate activity and lead notes.
  • Share insights with the team to evolve positioning and outreach strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience in medical device sales, customer service, or supply chain support—preferably in orthopedics, spine, trauma, or similar verticals.
  • Understanding of the rep-manufacturer dynamic and challenges of surgical inventory.
  • Strong communication skills for navigating cold calls and complex conversations.
  • Curiosity about SaaS and eagerness to learn in a startup environment.
  • Bonus: Experience working with reps, schedulers, hospitals, or OR staff.
