Overview

SupplyHouse.com, an innovative and industry leading e-commerce company, is looking for a Compensation Intern to work with us virtually this summer! This individual will gain hands-on experience supporting various compensation initiatives across the organization.

In Short

  • Support Compensation Projects: Assist in developing and refining compensation structures, including pay bands, salary ranges, and job leveling guides.
  • Conduct Market Research: Help gather and analyze compensation data to ensure our pay structures remain competitive and aligned with industry trends.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Work with compensation data, using Excel and other tools to clean, analyze, and present findings.
  • General Support: Provide administrative and analytical support on compensation-related initiatives as needed.
  • Gain real-world, hands-on experience.
  • Connect with other interns and team members throughout the company.
  • Utilize our “Flex-Time” policy to adjust your start and end time slightly.
  • Collaborate in a team atmosphere vital to our success.
  • Participate in virtual activities, events, and giving back initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups, basic data analysis).
  • Interest in compensation strategy, pay structures, and total rewards programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Familiarity with HR systems or compensation benchmarking tools (is a plus).
  • Passion for learning about fair and equitable compensation practices.
