Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Sturdy Medical Staffing, you will play a critical role in building our sales pipeline and driving company growth by connecting with potential clients.

In Short

  • Identify and research ideal prospects through platforms like Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Reach out via cold calls and emails to generate interest and book discovery meetings.
  • Qualify leads based on business needs, timeline, and fit.
  • Collaborate with our Accounts Director and CEO to align on outreach strategy.
  • Maintain detailed notes and activity tracking in our CRM.
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity targets (calls, emails, meetings booked).

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of experience in B2B sales or lead generation (working at staffing agency a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (or Google Workspace), CRM, and prospecting tools (Apollo a plus).
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and high-velocity prospecting.
  • Self-starter who is resourceful, creative, and intuitive.
  • Strong work ethic and resilience.
  • Curiosity – interested in the why and not afraid to ask questions.

Benefits

  • Base salary + commission structure.
  • Base salary: $45,000–$70,000 annually.
  • Commissions: $20,000-$40,000 annually (based on quota).
