Senior Site Selection and Development Manager - Remote

Overview

The Senior Site Selection and Development Manager will help find sites, negotiate land contracts, conduct due diligence, and complete the development activities necessary to mitigate risks and reduce lead times in order to bring high-quality data center sites to the market.

In Short

• Work with internal and external teams to identify and pursue new site selection projects.
• Lead the site selection process from start to finish.
• Manage communications with various project stakeholders.
• Oversee engineering consultants for technical due diligence.
• Support negotiations for land purchases and agreements.
• Handle contract management with legal counsel.
• Support the entitlements process for site permits.
• Organize trip itineraries and site visits.
• Evaluate economic development incentives.
• Develop project summary and strategy presentations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in site selection or project management.
• Advanced degree or practical experience in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or Law.
• Experience leading complex projects with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and think creatively.
• Top-notch negotiation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
