Overview

The People Operations Associate role supports the People Department in managing administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle, contributing to a smooth-running People team and enhancing the overall employee experience.

In Short

  • Assist with recruitment coordination and manage recruitment pipelines.
  • Track and manage the probation process.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and ATS.
  • Support payroll and benefits administration.
  • Manage background and reference checks.
  • Draft and refine job descriptions with line managers.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations.
  • Provide employee relations support and office management assistance.
  • Contribute to employee wellness initiatives.

Requirements

  • Tertiary degree or qualification in HR or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in People Operations and/or Recruitment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy, experience with G-suite applications is a plus.
  • Able to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Knowledge of an HRIS or ATS system.
