Overview

The Mid-Market Account Executive is responsible for sourcing, managing, and closing new business within 4 to 30 location operators in the tire and full service space. This role is crucial for capturing a significant segment of the market for Steer, a platform that provides modern tools for auto repair operators.

In Short

  • Source and close new business opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract.
  • Build relationships with decision makers.
  • Create business cases and ROI narratives.
  • Collaborate with BDRs to validate opportunities.
  • Participate in sales huddles and coaching sessions.
  • Maintain pipeline hygiene in HubSpot.
  • Provide feedback to Product, Marketing, and CS.
  • Represent Steer at industry events.

Requirements

  • Proven SaaS closing experience.
  • Ability to self-source pipeline.
  • Experience with multi-step sales cycles.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in automotive or operational industries (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (nice to have).
