Overview

The Patient Navigation & Outreach Specialist will assist women navigating health challenges related to breast and cervical cancer, providing education, support, and resources to improve health outcomes.

In Short

  • Full-time position with partial telework allowed.
  • Coordinates delivery of breast and cervical cancer screening services.
  • Provides education on the Maine Treatment Act.
  • Monitors client data and records for federal grant compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health or related field.
  • Two years of experience in health education program planning.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize and summarize information.
  • Experience with women's health education.
  • Knowledge of cancer screening terminology.
  • Experience coordinating patient care.
