Overview

As a Technical Support Engineer at StarTree, you will become a critical interface between customers and StarTree’s cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and driving customer satisfaction.

In Short

  • Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Provide customer support through tickets and Slack Connect.
  • Document solutions and mentor team members.
  • Act as the voice of the customer for product feedback.
  • Create internal tooling to improve processes.
  • Work with advanced data technologies for AI-driven innovations.
  • Support customers in achieving success with StarTree solutions.
  • Engage in continuous learning and improvement.
  • Handle on-call support for urgent production issues.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Hands-on experience with open-source data technologies.
  • Familiarity with OLAP systems like Apache Pinot.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop.
  • Strong understanding of OLAP, Analytics, Kubernetes, and SQL.
  • Experience with streaming technologies like Apache Kafka.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across various systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure patterns and services.
  • Bonus: Certification in Solutions Architecture for public clouds.
  • Bonus: Degree in Computer Science with a focus on Data Science.
