Overview

The Proactive NOC Engineer provides real-time assistance to T2s and handles escalated calls for offline devices when all Senior NOC agents are unavailable, ensuring efficient network monitoring and troubleshooting.

In Short

• Monitor Nagios Alerts for hosts and services.
• Manage Meraki dashboard alerts.
• Create tickets and troubleshoot proactive monitoring cases.
• Notify properties of offline equipment and provide resolution options.
• Contact properties for approval on dispatches and replacements.
• Create and handle tech dispatches.
• Troubleshoot and recover offline devices.
• Install and configure replacement devices.
• Initiate RMA for faulty hardware.
• Update tracking spreadsheets and complete post-installation checks.

Requirements

• Certified Tier 2 Engineer.
• Preferably with Ruckus certifications.
• In-house Tier 3 passer is a plus.
