Overview

The Leave of Absence Case Manager oversees and administers employee leave requests and accommodations requiring specialized attention for our clients’ employees. You’ll apply your already established skillset and knowledge to administer leave requests arising under FMLA, ADA, state/local laws and short- and long-term disability plans. You’ll also work in partnership with our clients following all SOPs while providing them and their employees a top-notch service experience.

In Short

  • Administer the entire leave process from the initial request to the employee's return-to-work.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, clients, and third-party vendors.
  • Communicate with employees to understand their needs and provide available solutions.
  • Ensure employees are informed of their responsibilities and required documentation.
  • Advise on the interaction between leave laws and benefits.
  • Facilitate and coordinate all aspects of leave management.
  • Maintain accurate records of leave and accommodation requests.
  • Stay current on applicable leave and accommodation laws.
  • Timely update and maintain the LOA Board on Monday.com.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements

  • Experience in leave management and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and relevant state/local laws.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in using tracking systems and documentation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Experience with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
  • Problem-solving skills for complex situations.
