Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote

Overview

Provide quality assurance support to public health and public safety IT solutions projects requiring a significant amount of test automation and custom product configuration.

In Short

• Lead team in the execution of tests and assist in problem resolution.
• Collaborate with project team members to define and document test cases.
• Create automated test scripts and mentor team members on best practices.
• Provide input for testing strategies and estimates of effort.
• Create and maintain performance test scripts.
• Ensure functionality adheres to business requirements and standards.
• Identify, record, and analyze problems found during testing.
• Provide reports containing test metrics and status to management.
• Support QA Division process planning and execution.
• Support QA Division resource hiring, training, and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
• Experience in developing comprehensive project plans and communication documents.
• Experience in all phases of software development lifecycle focusing on testing.
• Experience in web application testing and validating UI functionality.
• Experience in verifying API endpoints and performance metrics.
• Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
• Experience in building complex SQL queries for data validation.
• Experience in validating data in different file formats including HL7 and EDI.
• Experience in performing requirement analysis and root cause analysis.
