In Short

Conducting comprehensive end-to-end testing of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across desktop and mobile platforms
Keeping a user-first approach to testing, ensuring a positive end-user experience
Performing regression test on existing products end-to-end to ensure stability before releases
Writing and maintaining automation scripts for end-to-end workflows
Clearly documenting issues and improvements to the engineering team
Working with implementation and customer success teams to reproduce, document, and escalate user-reported issues
Engaging closely with product, design, and engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, offering insights at every stage
Providing regular updates on testing progress and overall product quality to the QA team and other stakeholders
Assisting remote colleagues with questions about functionality that you’ve tested
Documenting internal-facing summaries of notable features that you’ve tested
Proactively identifying and addressing process improvements in collaboration with team members

Requirements

6+ years of experience in manual QA, including experience testing on both desktop and mobile platforms
3+ years of experience in writing and maintaining automated testing scripts for end-to-end workflows, ideally with Playwright or a Node.js framework
Ability to read and understand code with focus on early defect prevention
The ability to learn new concepts quickly, and be able to explain them to others
Understanding of agile development processes
Experience in issue tracking software, Linear preferred
Responsiveness and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective collaboration with the team
Ability to navigate ambiguity, escalate issues proactively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
