Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting public health and public safety IT solutions projects, focusing on test automation and custom product configuration.

In Short

• Design and develop cloud-native and web applications using Java.
• Utilize Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, and Serverless architecture.
• Implement Object Oriented Analysis and reusable Design patterns.
• Develop application databases in RDBMS and optimize SQL queries.
• Conduct peer-reviews, unit testing, and deploy code to production.
• Debug production issues and implement necessary fixes.
• Work with SCRUM and AGILE methodologies.
• Collaborate on software design and user requirements analysis.
• Utilize technologies like Groovy, Jhipster, and Flowable.
• Experience in J2EE, Spring, Maven, and Hibernate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Software Engineering/Development.
• Experience in designing cloud-native applications using Java.
• Proficiency in Service Oriented Architecture and Microservices.
• Experience writing complex SQL queries in SQL Server or Oracle.
• 3 years of experience with J2EE, Spring, Maven, and Hibernate.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
