Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Lead Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of public health and safety IT solutions through custom product configurations, test automation, and quality assurance support.

In Short

• Lead team in executing tests and evaluating results.

• Provide input for testing strategies and assist in managing a small QA team.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium WebDriver.

• Support QA Division planning and resource management.
• Utilize JIRA for test management and bug tracking.
• Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of quality assurance engineering/testing experience, or 5 years with a Master’s degree.
• 5 years of experience with testing and automating REST APIs.
• Experience developing and executing Java-based automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with SQL for data validation and testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools.
• Ability to create automated test scripts and mentor team members.
• Knowledge of performance testing and test case library maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
