Field Service Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide our customers with efficient on-site and remote technical support for our innovative products at SPT Labtech.

In Short

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for SPT Labtech products.
• Travel schedule may consist of up to 5 days travel per week.
• Assist with in-house return to base and RMA repairs.
• Organize schedules to ensure service-related activities are completed on time.
• Administer and update SalesForce.com.
• Organize and schedule training sessions for customers and FSEs.
• Update the support calendar for visibility of daily work schedules.
• Submit and circulate site reports within 3 days of customer site visits.
• Adhere to procedures detailed in the SOP for Support.
• Be flexible regarding start and finish times to meet work needs.

Requirements

• Ability to technically review issues and problem-solve.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Cooperative attitude to support business needs.
• Desire to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Sound understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
• Minimum of 4 years in field service duties or equivalent experience.
• Excellent people skills with a positive attitude.
• AAS or BS in mechanical or electrical Engineering or equivalent.
