Technical Project Manager / Senior Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Technical Project Manager with robust Senior Business Analyst expertise to spearhead complex software development initiatives.

In Short

• Act as the primary liaison between the program office, stakeholders, and development teams.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Partner with the program office to streamline and prioritize the product backlog.
• Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and leadership.
• Review vendor Statements of Work (SOWs) and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and manage project budgets.
• Maintain and update project epics, user stories, and tasks in Jira.
• Generate executive-level reports for the US Department of Education.
• Lead business analysis efforts for the Student Longitudinal Data Systems project.

Requirements

• 7+ years of combined experience in project management and business analysis roles.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage challenging stakeholders.
• Hands-on expertise with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Familiarity with testing tools and practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Demonstrated experience in vendor relationship management.
