3rd Shift Desktop Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a qualified Desktop Engineer for the 3rd shift of our 24x7 Team who has experience troubleshooting computer issues and supporting customers by phone, email, and via remote access tools.

• Job title: Desktop Engineer - 3rd Shift (12 am EST to 8 am EST)
• Location: Newark, NJ
• Initially onsite for one month, then fully remote.
• Provide level 1 & 2 support for users.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems for desktops and laptops.
• Utilize ticketing system to manage support requests.
• Manage Windows Active Directory and Exchange.
• Work closely with IT team on maintenance and configuration.
• Maintain accurate asset management records.
• Work with vendors on IT equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• College degree and/or 4-6 years' experience in end user support.
• Ability to solve hardware and software problems.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory & Office 365.
• Experience troubleshooting network issues.
• Familiarity with DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with IVR systems, preferably Avaya.
• Basic understanding of ITIL processes.
• MDM experience, specifically Airwatch, is a plus.
