In Short

  • This is a Hunter Role. Candidate will be expected to prospect and develop new pipeline.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth across Southern California and the Pacific Northwest.
  • Identify and engage enterprise IT decision-makers to position Spectra Logic’s solutions.
  • Work closely with technology alliance partners and VARs to build joint go-to-market strategies and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage opportunity progression within CRM to track and analyze pipeline development, ensuring accurate forecasting.
  • Conduct solution presentations, product demonstrations, and executive briefings to showcase Spectra Logic’s value proposition.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, customer challenges, and the competitive landscape to provide strategic insights and solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless customer engagement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably selling data storage, data protection, or IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in a complex, solution-based sales environment.
  • Experience working with technology alliances and VARs to drive joint sales efforts.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand enterprise IT challenges and articulate how Spectra Logic’s solutions address them.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously and work autonomously in a remote role.
  • Experience using CRM tools to track and manage sales opportunities effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within the region.
