Overview

As a Lead Key account representative for the Government Sales Team, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with municipal or federal services, programs, and acquisitions. You will deliver high-quality support via phone, email, and in-person communication while ensuring compliance with municipal, GSA policies and federal guidelines.

In Short

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and Salesforce.
  • Investigate and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Assist with order tracking and contract questions.
  • Provide guidance on federal procurement processes.
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with GSA regulations.
  • Monitor and report recurring problems.
  • Participate in training sessions for GSA programs.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Manage and update work instructions as needed.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in government sales.
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition or government services is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel & Word.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to handle complaints and difficult customers.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime.
