Field Technical Trainer - Southwest - Remote

Overview

This position involves developing and delivering technical training programs for internal staff and external partners in the southwest regions of the US, with a focus on SoundOff Signal's products.

In Short

• Conduct hands-on training sessions, both in-person and virtually.
• Create engaging training materials including manuals and presentations.
• Collaborate with teams to identify training needs.
• Stay updated with industry trends for training content.
• Provide post-training support to ensure effective implementation.
• Evaluate training programs through feedback and metrics.
• Travel up to 75%, including some weekends.
• Attend and support national and regional tradeshows.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Technical background preferred, especially in public safety or emergency vehicle upfitting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with designing wire schematics.
• Ability to multitask and solve problems.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel internationally.
• Must possess and maintain auto insurability status.
