Sotheby’s is seeking an experienced and innovative Staff Infrastructure Engineer to play a central role in the future of our infrastructure and developer platform services.

• 7+ years of engineering experience required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in engineering building platforms and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Node.js, Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of build and deployment tools (Bazel, Github Actions, Pants, Spinnaker).
• Experience with automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with relational database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Exposure to microservices architecture and observability tools.
• Experience with event streaming platforms like Kafka and Kinesis.
